I have a leg lamp night light - that helped me draw it. I remember a couple of years ago it was the 25th anniversary of the movie, and they were selling a string of leg lamp Christmas lights at walmart, I wish I had bought them then! The leg lamp is my very favorite part of that movie! Hokey schtick - it's what I live for!

Thank you all for your compliments - I made my own paper piece pattern for this, and if you looked closely you would notice places where it could be improved - after the holidays I want to make one for me as a wall hanging, and I will improve the technique then.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all and to all no bird nests, seamripping, or other mishaps! Smooth sewing to all, and to all a good night!

I love that movie. Nice work on the leg lamp. I'm assuming the fishnet stockings will be done with the quilting.

Too cute!!

I was in Hallmark yesterday buying Christmas cards (the individual ones, not boxed) and they have cards with pictures from the movie. I think one even had the Leg Lamp on it!!

The fishnet stockings were created by doing the leg with 2 fabrics together - a flesh tone covered by black mesh (not tulle - looser woven mesh). This photo makes it difficult to see the effect, but it does look just like fishnet hose!
