Default Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

My DS and I got together at her house for a Sew Fun Weekend. Her DH was out of town so, we sewed, shopped, and giggled our way thru the weekend. I decided to try something I have not done before with FMQ. Now, even tho I like the way it turned out (sort of) there are things I will do differently the next time. I thought of making a table runner but did not like the high loft batting for that, so I turned it into a Christmas purse. The design goes all the way around the bag. DS bought some new Christmas ornaments and I filched one for a zipper pull... the bag isn't perfect, of course, but I like the technique and will try some more of this type of FMQ.

Your FMQ is amazing and the purse turned out great. So nice you could spend a weekend with your DS - always great to have memories.

Very clever. Can you explain the technique you used?
