It's really neat. Are you using a pattern or just doing it on your own?

That's going to be very cute! My daughter's a high school librarian, and I've been thinking about doing a wall hanging for her. I'm going to bookmark yours, so I can add to my "idea" stash!

Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

Fun. I love your fun fabrics.

I made one for a retiring librarian. On one of the books, at least one where the writing will show, name the book quilting 101 or something like that and put yourself as the author. Because mine was for a retiring librarian. I took pens to his party and had people sign the spines of the books. It is such a treasured quilt because it is so personal. And yours will be too.

What an appropriate quilt for a librarian. She'll love it. I like how you've used such bright cheery fabrics for the books. Please remember to show us your finished quilt. Thanks for sharing.

You chose great fabrics for the books. I agree that a charcoal gray would also be attractive.

Thanks everyone!! I think I might consider charcol for the selves...I was torn between black or brown so charcol just might be what I need to use... I am doing it on my own..no pattern..
