And that's what inspired this wall hanging! I still need to sandwich, quilt and bind. I'm thinking of a deep purple batik for the binding. What do you think?

Trying to decide how to quilt also. I was thinking of stitch in the ditch and some 1/4 inch from edges quilting. Thinking about stipling in the black areas (with black thread) but haven't made up my mind yet. Any suggestions?

Since it just snowed again today in central Wisconsin it will be some time before we see lilacs. Guess I will have to make a wall hanging, yours is georgous!!!

Oh!! i'm totally jeolous, my mother lived to be 93, I lost her a year ago and she loved lilacs. I've been wanting to make one in her name, (Evelyn)now you inspired me to finally make one. That is beautiful!!

It is stunning! The quilting plan sounds perfect. (My mother also loved lilacs and passed away 16 mo. ago.)

Oh, Wow!! That is right pretty. It looks like a picture, and a darker framing might make it pop!! I love it.
