Default This little block is perfect - except it is the wrong size

I love this little block. It came in a pattern book of 3 inch paper piecing blocks. I enlarged the pattern on a copier, spent a few hours carefully making the block. I was so delighted with it, until, I went to line it up with my other random mini blocks and it is 1/2 inch too small. I used the wrong ratio to enlarge the pattern!
I should have double checked the copy when it came out of the copier.
I don't want to put a border around it, because that alone will make it stand out too much from the other blocks. Oh well, practice is never a bad thing, right? I think I will just put it in a frame.

It's a very cute block! Sorry it's the wrong size.

It's really cute...can you add a 1" accent strip to one side and either the top of bottom to bring it up to size? That will leave 1/2" total for seam widths.

If nothing else it could be used as a label on the back.

A label is a great idea or a Christmas tree ornament, if you stuff it.
