That is adorable! Do you need to have an embroidery machine to use the pattern? Could I make it (without the embroidery) on my old Singer???

Hi watson's mom, it is something quite different then what you'd find in an embroidery design. I also thought it would make a nice gift for a friend, I was thinking it could make a cute little jewerly box or have it as a little choc. holder for yourself in your sewing room, we may need a boost as we are creating our new projects ...???? lol just a thought, I think this could be used for many things. Happy to see you liked my project.

HI lauriejo, I was wondering about that too. Wonder if a person could make it without embroidery machine and make it a bit larger. I was thinking we could use heat/bond for the stiffness and to give it support. I have a ruler from kay wood that makes hexagons from 2inches to 8inches. the panels for back , all we'd have to do is make sure they would line up with the sides of hexagons. The lid would have to be a tiny bit larger then the inside hexagons, in order to fit the box when it's close. I'm sure we can be done. Thank you for your comment.
