    QuiltsRfun, I did add the borders. The little squares are left overs from some fat quarters that I used in a maple leaf quilt. And the large border is fabric from my stash. I think I should have brought the borders in a bit farther to the dark edge of the pumpkin, but...oh, well... I used the Quilt in a Day template/ruler to make the scallops. I love that ruler & have used on several quilts. It takes the math out of it and pretty much tells you how many scallops & how big to make them. You can use it to make vines and waves, too, but I've only used it for scallops so far. You can see a tutorial about it on Missouri Star Quilt Co's website.

    Wow, it turned out beautifully and what a wonderful job you did with the quilting. Fun for practice but is wonderful keeper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
