I've been 'playing' at this project for a while. While learning locker hooking, I thought my hands were going to kill me. But after about a week, they got used to it. It's very relaxing while watching TV at night. I made this as an experiment, to see what different directions looked like with different scraps. I added some accents, and now it's ready to hang on the wall.

I love your locker hook wall hanging! I was at a fiber demonstration last month and a lady showed me how to do this. I need to find my kit and get started on my rug. Thanks for sharing the photo!

Very nice!

Is that like the latch hook with yarn I used to do...only bigger?

Hmmm, I don't know. I'd never heard of this until a few months ago.

The latch hook was like a crochet hook crossed with a hook like you attach a leash to a dog's collar. You used a mesh base...like big tapestry canvas...and precut strips of rug yarn that you attached at the intersections of the mesh.
