Did you paper-piece this quilt? I've only made one log cabin, a child's quilt, but yours with so many scraps is especially interesting. I really want to do what you did. All of those colors make it kind of dance. Have not seen one with the scrappy look and I like it. I have tons of scraps and I can't think of a better use for them, except maybe a postage stamp quilt. Now that's ambitious.

Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I LOVE the scrappy back and such a beautiful story your quilt tells! And. . . I love, love, LOVE the cross-stitched label! I'm so bad at remembering to put labels on my quilts, but THIS is such a GREAT idea - thank you for the inspiration!!!
