thank you all for the kind words. i will forward your expressions of gratitude. i know my SIL will appreciated them. to all of your loved ones who are serving, pass along my gratitude also as well as many prayers for their safety. our military and their families do the heavy lifting for the rest of us.

p.s. i made a totally glaring error in putting the blocks together, i hope my daughter just thinks it is artistic license, LOL!! i did not catch it until i looked at the pics. kings size quilt are just too big for me. if i start another i hope you all will lovingly recommend that i have my head examined.lol!!!!

It's beautiful. I always love the ones with glaring errors the most. :0)

I also sleep beneath the special ones.

Very beautiful...the log cabin is one of my very favorites for its symbolism of hearth and home.

Our son is in Iraq, too, and I would ask for prayers for Steven's safety. Thanks!!

If you made an error in that gorgeous quilt, I can't see it. Can any of you veteran quilters find it? Amish quiltmakers deliberately make an error because only Christ is perfect.
