Default Lone Star Quilt

I have been working on this Lone Star for a customer. Any ideas on how to quilt it?

That is a great quilt. I would feather in the whites and do continuous curves in star points.

I'd do some decorative stitching in the white. But, I'm not real sure about the star. I love the colors in your star.

Your lone star is beautiful. I'm working on one now with similar colors so will also be glad to have ideas on how to quilt.

Your Lone Star is beautiful. I tried to make a baby quilt one this weekend. Everything was going great until I tried to join in the center. My 2 pieces were not straight, sort of ended up with a slight V shape. I am so mad and I can not figure out where I went wrong..The baby shower is this weekend ! Crap !

My center and points fit together perfectly. I never made a Lone Star before so I was lost, but the customer wanted a Lone Star. I never back away from something new so...... I found a video lesson on YouTube by Jan Krentz. "Jan Krentz Teaches You to Make a Lone Star Quilt". It was a 72 hour rental... only for $3.99. Well worth the price. Its about a hour and half long. You can find it here at:

Check out my blog to see the steps in order.
