Back in 2000, my husband (who drinks Lone Star Beer) dared me to make a quilt that looked like the can. It took me 9 months (I hand quilt, and do this part time) It was quite a challenge, but I did it!

Thank you so much. I am presently working on a quilt for my son. I have my father's boy scout shirt back from the 1940's and my son's cub scout shirt from the early 1980's. It is coming along nicely and will post when I am finished.

Way cool! If it was me hand quilting it would have taken me a lot longer then 9 months.

Yes, I'd definitely send the brewer a picture....this is stunning (though I'm strictly a Guinness girl when it comes to beers!). You really did beautifully with this project, can't wait to see your next one.

Ha ha ha It that hubby in the cowboy hat holding it up for us to see? What a picture. I love it through and though.

The quilt really came out great. I have to admit, I have never seen one of those cans, but, I am sure you got it right on spot.
