The Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day book does this with strip sets. If you're accurate with your cutting and sewing the result is fantastic!

This quilt is spectacular! I am making a quilt for my nephew for his wedding but it won't be this fancy!

I wonder do young couples really appreciate what they are being given when they get a quilt as a gift. Michael's quilt finished will be over 250.00 (sending it out to be longarmed too...)and that doesn't count my time. Would he prefer the money in a card?
If Michael is young, he's probably go for the money. But as he gets older, he will appreciate the quilt more and think of you every time he sees it :!:

I keep looking at this quilt over and over because I really love it!

Where can I find the directions how to make one?
