Izy.....I did strip piece this....wasn't as bad as I thought it would be once I figured out a method that worked for me...good luck...p.s. make sure you do it in colors you like....

this is 70 x 70 and I did it in these colors cause if i messed it up i could toss it and not feel bad....tere is mistakes...and a story behind the whole thing just so glad its big enough to be useful...and call it done... :?

thanks again everyone for your kind words....

Great job as usuall!! The colors aren't bad, it is very cheerful though! The dresdens look great - your other dresden quilt has inspired me to do one - bought the ruler - will get to it someday!!

Wow What a lot of work. Good job. I know what you mean about it being hard to finish something if you decide you don't like it. It's a nice quilt though. Congratulations on finishing. A job well done.

Cathie--I think you have done a fabulous job!!! You are such a precise quilter-an inspiration to us all. I just don't get your comment " take note of my mistakes" because I don't see any at all!!

Hi

Love the quilt. I hope to try the Lone Star this winter. Any tips? I did Winter Stars that was on the cover of Fons and Portor magazine a few years ago and I learned a LOT from that quilt. Which pattern is this from? My pattern looks like the pieces would be smaller. Did you hand quilt or machine? Great job!!!!
