I guess my question is: why two batts...with the intense quilting most of it is locked down....granted the feathers are great-could those have been machine trapuntoed?. Also, I would like to see the quilt after washing...to remove those blue marks? Will it be just as beautiful?????? It seems to me that once washed that fresh, puffy look is gone.
Your quilting is beautiful? I hope you are planning to enter this into a juried show??????

The quilt is not mine to enter in a show but I do believe the owner of this quilt may have plans of entering it in a show. I hope so, even if it doesn't win anything I'd love to see a picture of it hanging up in the show hall.
