That's a pretty quilt, but the no hands thing freaks me out. Bar the very unlikely option that we are being inclusive of amputees and others without limbs, the only message I can take from no arms is that she is powerless. I am just getting past issues of being freaked out about never seeing her face (upside is it could after all allow any of us to imagine its a picture of us). But honestly- it's hard not to be disturbed by no hands, especially for those who work with their hands.

You could appliqué her some new hands and let her get busy!
