Great gift, so thoughtful! Very romantic, IMO. Kudos to your man.

I didnt always get romantic gifts for anniv. or Val. Day. Our early years together were so hard that buying a card was a stretch. We often made our own cards to each other, and sometimes it was a favorite candy bar. Those meant as much to me as the diamonds I got as life became easier. Dot get me wrong, I love the jewelry also, but the love that he shows me everyday means more to me than any purchased gift . Don was my first love, we met when I had just turned 15 and he was 16. Ours was the marriage that wasnt suppose to last.

My lovely DH went out with me to buy the bits n bobs for a design wall and then assembled it and I'm sitting looking at it right now. Actions etc. He's a keeper too.

lol No he didn't. He found it on eBay one evening after I had gone to bed.

Like your name, letters changed around. One of my favorite actors.

Blessings,
Sandi

Carol, I meant no harm in my quote to you. I too remember the hard days in the beginning of our marriage. Most times we only had cards for one another. My hubby just came home for lunch and he sneaked in a single red rose. He laid it across the new machine. He kept saying, several times as I was watching him walk across the yard to leave, sure is a pretty machine. He stopped when I looked at the machine and saw the rose laying across it. Tears welled up as I remembered that our first date was suppose to be on a Valentine's Day many years ago and I had to cancel. He brought me a single red rose that day at work.
Our golden years seem easier than our younger years. We are less stressful, children grown with families of their own and we get to enjoy our spouses all to ourselves. We really are blessed.

Sandi

Love the new addition to your crafts. It is nice that your husband puts thoughts in his gifts that he gives you. Like someone else wrote "He's a keeper". Hope everyone has a Happy Valentine's Day :-) :-)
