    My God daughter's expecting and due on halloween. I always make a quilt for all newborn babies. I tend to make them with fabrics that will last a life time, rather than child type themes.

    The purple lattice is the front of the quilt, the white-the back.

    I wasn't particularly fond of the colors chosen by the mom to be. Rather than have extra lime green and purple left over, I chose to make this baby quilt a double sided one!

    I like the way it turned out. Probably harder to do if you don't like the fabrics.
