What a bargain you got. Good for you and the quilt. Strange me....I always think quilts have feelings.LOL. Isn't it wonderful to give new life to a quilt that was made by someone else, especially when so much work went into the making of it.

One dollar???? Some people just have no clue how much those old quilts are worth and how much love went into them. That one is a real treasure. Aren't you glad you did the U-turn thingy!! That quilt was just calling out your name.

oh my word. long ago in Texas, I bought a quilt with embroidery coming apart . paid $300.00 for it! I didn't quilt then.
