I love your find! Also love the blue crazy the best. The pieces of doily cut up and used as fabric is lovely. What a great idea!

I agree! I wonder how they did that? Wouldn't the crochet unravel when you cut it? My mom crochets a lot - would be neat to make her a table runner that incorporated both.

I'm thinking you could lay your whole doily on backing fabric (showing through the doily) then sew a double line here and there across the doily and then cut between the stitching and, voila!, you have your pieces to include in the crazy patch.
