This is a very old quilt I found today at the thrift store. I paid $8.00 for it. It is full of holes with the batting coming through. You can tell by the stitching that it was made with love.

Wow ... that's really cool ... are you going to try to refinish it?

What a great find! Glad it now has a good home. Someone put a lot of love into that, now you will put more.

Those old quilts are wonderful. I have my Dad's baby quilt and will not do a thing to it. He died in 1969 at the age of 52-----It's a wonderful memory of him!!

So glad this quilt went home with you. I am like craftiladi, and want to take old quilts, and all unwanted puppies and kittens home with me, too.
Does it have any good sections? Obviously, it has already put in its time at hard labor, and if it were just folded to show the good section, it deserves to spend the rest of its days at ease on display.
I am kinda ragged in places, too, but I see beauty in this quilt.
