Barb, That is absolutely breath-taking!!!! I have never seen this log cabin variation, but I will not forget it now. Your fabric choices are to die for too--perfect!!!!! I KNOW you will get this finished!!!!

I am going to make it unanimous for number 2. And use the floral fabric in the center. Stunning!!!!

I like #2. With a floral center, #1 might give you the star effect you're thinking you'd like. Either way, it's going to be a beautiful wall hanging. Great job!

Barb, I love it!!! Sooo pretty!! I say #2 also. I think for the star to work, you would need the darker colors in your rose block and the lighter in the center and corner squares. But this is still BEAUTIFUL!!!!
