I like it. Points matching - at one time I was obsessed with that, and therefore very discouraged. Then I saw a quilt on a quilting magazine cover where the points didn't match...and stopped worrying about it.

when I read what you said about no contrast, and then scrolled down to photo #1,,,my thought was,,"you were right", but I loved the colors,,,,then I scrolled to photo #2 and WOW !!! all I could think was WOW....WOW....I love it..!!!! to me you didn 't need the contrast !!!! It's beautiful...

First thing I notice is that it's the pieces cut on bias that seem to not line up. When you have bias pieces you have to be very careful not to stretch the piece. I think that may have been the issue here.

But overall it's a wonderful quilt...and I think it all sort of blending is fine.

Consider it a learning experience and go on with the new skills. I remember some of my early quilts!! Oh My!! But I kept going and learned as I went. It's a process every new quilter goes through.
