It was so sweet, she went to bed with her new doll and DQ last night. She had the doll cuddled under her right arm, with the quilt on top of her. she said it's her favorite doll because a special lady made it for her!! How cute...sometimes she's so grown up and other times, she turns into a little girl again. She's going thru those hormonal rages of puberty and has had some pretty intense moments! Anyway, this is such a lovely gift she recieved - I may try to take some closeups. There are maple leaves, buttons and fabulous stitching throughout the quilt and doll. Her face is embroidered and just lovely.

Yes, she looks more like me than her daddy...only she got the "pretty" gene. She's blond/blue eyed and I'm a dark eyed/hair person. She's starting to go into the gawky stage, but she has always been a very pretty girl. I love looking at her when she's being sweet!!
