I love that pattern and you did a great job with the colors.
That is an Eleanor Burns pattern so has to be easy to do.

Your quilt turned out beautiful. You mentioned that these colors/patterns are not your norm to quilt with, well you would have fooled me..

Pinkris, that is really lovely! I love the fabrics you chose, and WOW, that quilting job is beautiful! Was it a hard one to put together? I bought the Lover's Knot book by Eleanor Burns, but haven't tried it yet. I'm anxious to do it.

I really like this and it looks like it was a really easy and quick block to make. I love how your quilter contrasted the sharp angles with that beautiful swirl. Do you know if that was something she did free hand or a panto?

Thanks again for all the nice comments!

Ranger--This pattern is from Eleanor Burns. It's not hard to do because she is so specific in her instructions. Just be careful to get enough fabric. I had a problem because the border yardage was listed separately and I didn't order enough of it. Luckily, I found something that was very similar and substituted it.

Feline Fanatic--My quilter did this free hand! I also think it was a great choice to use the curves to set off the angles.

Well done. It's hard to do a quilt using fabrics that you are not completely comfortable with, but you should be pleased with youself. it's beautiful.
