He will love this quilt. The cornerstones were a great solution as it is very nice.

It turned out really well and is for sure a 'boy' quilt.

It's a bit funny - I had already made him a quilt for his first big-boy bed. Made it over a year ago to have it ready and that poor kid is still sleeping on a crib mattress on a toddler bed frame - he's turning 5! The quilt I made is a baseball theme, but is quite grown up looking. She very politely and delicately asked if I could make one for him to use now - before he gets one that will do him for his teens and on. She wants to keep him little longer. I totally agree so happily am making this one. I made a monkey one when he moved from his crib. This one for his first big boy bed. The baseball one will do from age 10 or so on to college. No problem making quilts for this Grammy. As long as they'll sleep under them - I'll make them.

Agree!! The cornerstones really pop, and look like you planned them to be there from the get go..

I agree. I can't believe the difference the cornerstones make. Cool quilt.

He will love it! They should call cornerstone the anchor stones because they seem to anchor everything together perfectly!
