I think you need some darker border and lose the dots.

I think I would add another color border, and then quilt with colored thread as someone else mentioned. Very pretty though!

What about a vine with flowers around the edge?You could use the colors in the log cabin and machine applique them. The circles just do not improve the design.

I like this idea, or the smaller border design sent in. Are they yoyos? They just don't balance well in your pic of them around the blocks. IMHO. Lynn

As a rule I love white and can't get enough. However, I would make the white border smaller and put another border to frame it. I would not do the yoyo's.

I agree with Arleners. Her prototype is much more pleasing to the eye. IMHO.
