Very nice. You must be very proud of your grandson. Will he be going to San Diego or Parris Island for boot camp. My son is a drill instructor at Parris Island. Good luck to your grandson. Semper Fi.

He will be in San Diego. Men from Michigan to there and all women to to Parris Island.

Today is his commencement and I will give him the quilt. I can't wait until this afternoon.

My son is a Marine and I've purchased some Marines fabric and am trying to choose a pattern for a quilt for him. I found a star pattern that I like and think I'll put the EGA panel in the center also.
Please tell your grands Thank You for serving!

VERY nice. Our son was in the Marine Corps also.
Thank you for including the link to the pattern.

Where did you get the Marine fabric, what manufacturer if you recall? My nephew-in-law has an English Bulldog, the mascot of the Marines. I would like to make him a quilt for Lou's (the dog) bed.

Marine fabric was Robert Kaufman and I got it at either Joann or Walmart quite a while ago.
