Hello, I started a quilt for my sister awhile back & it's finally taking shape. I have the center part of the quilt done & I'm trying to get the border piecing done before Sept. 27th when I'm scheduled to go in for surgery to remove a cancerous lump in my rt breast. I'm hoping to get the quilt top all done this week so that I can have time to recover after surgery for a week or more before I tackle the quilting. I would like to quilt it in October before we go to my sisters as I want to take it with me & I don't want to mail it.

Its stunning, and I hope your surgery goes well and the outcome is good. Please don't push yourself too early after the op', you will need to rest to help aid recovery.
