This applique block is called " Ka-Bloom ". It is one of 9 blocks that are in the "In full bloom" Art Quilt by Mckenna Ryan. I have only one of the blocks left to make. But this was by far the most challenging one to complete. It is Block one but I decided to leave it till nearly last so I could get some more experience.

Beautiful daughter and beautiful block. Great work!!!

I love Ryan Mckenna's designs. Thinking about getting the patterns for Chrissy Down Under.

Looks beautiful Aussie. I had wondered how you were going with this. I confess I haven't done any more of mine - too busy with other projects at the moment.

Can't wait to see the completed quilt. Are you going to post the other blocks in the meantime?

That is so beautiful - and the quilt block isn't too bad either!
