    Default Kaleidoscope in progress...

I had made a Ricky Timms Kool Kaleidoscope awhile ago and decided that I would cut it in to 4 pieces and use it as corner sections for a new kaleidoscope that I was going to work on. Here is a picture of that new one in progress. I hope to get this one assembled and then separate the other one soon. I am juggling a few things - I'm on a big paper piecing kick and I'm making mini tops for the Alzheimer Art Quilt Initiative. My guild is having a Sewing Saturday for the AAQI and I want to go with a bunch of little tops, ready to go so I can have fun quilting that day instead of piecing

Anyhoooo... here is my kaleidoscope in progress.... on my new design wall (thanks to a big piece of felt and a bunch of thumb tacks)

That is so pretty, the quilt is going to be out of this world. Be sure to show us when it is finished.
