Love your colors. I too love rag quilts and have made about 10 of them. I alternate 10" squares with a 4 patch 0f 5" squares.

yes the colors in this rag quilt are wonderful! I have made 2 rag quilts as gifts and they use a lot of fabric but they are nice and cozy.

I don't think Minky will "bloom" with washing like flannels and cottons.

I have made several rag quilts and even though I don't want to make any more I still think they are beautiful. I admire anyone who will tackle a king size. They are a lot of work. I love your colors and the way you put it together. A couple of years ago rag bags were popular in our area. I think I have made at least 50 of those, some for gifts and some to sell.

Stunning !!! There are some nice rag quilt patterns out there that have a variety of blocks, other than squares, all are very nice. I've also seen jackets, etc. done in the rag style. All are fun to make. Auntie B from Saskatchewan.

Your quilt is so pretty. I love the colors. I belong to SPR (Bichon rescue) and we often make these blankets for the adopted fluffs. I have not made one yet but I have lots of fabric - mostly Homested - and want to get started because they look so easy. They are also very soft and the more you wash them, the softer they get.
