Centennial models are considered more "collectible" than some others. The daughters and granddaughters certainly missed out on something special. My daughter has my mom's featherweight and uses it all the time to make dog items (coats, snoods for long ears and bandanas).

Thanks for the info. I found out she was born Aug 22, 1950, and she is a "Centennial". At age 61, she has managed to maintain her svelte figure. Sweet.
