This is the first quilt I have quilted for someone else on my Innova LA (only my 3rd quilt so far). This the first quilt I have done 100% free hand with no stencils or marking at all and my first end to end design.
This was my friend Meg's very first quilt! She did it double sided so it was quite a big endeavor for a new quiltmaker. She did a wonderful job on her very first quilt but working with T-shirts can always be a bit tricky. So I had to quilt this fairly close to ensure I got no puckers or pleats in her beautiful batik background fabric. I did this all free hand and decided on a design that looks like a cross between flames and a tribal tattoo. It is for her DS who is 17 or 18 (can't remember exactly).

Still on the rack. This is the top

Im in the process of doing a Scrappt type T-Shirt Quilt. Not sure how I will do, being the first one for me but I am excited to get it started.
