I made this draw string bag from a FQ and some ribbon I had and decided to make one of the frilly flowers I am having a blast making to match the colors in the bag. This is the x-large size. I used 6.5" squares and I also used 26 of the petals to make it fuller.
It is for my bf's birthday coming up soon. I stuffed it full of goodies for her. Hope she likes it :-)

If you look up Clover Flower Frills Template they have a utube how to video. I bought the templates at JoAnns but once you see the video they are soooo easy that you really don't need a template.

I wish I was your BFF. She is really scoring a nice b-day gift. If your BFF is also a quilter, she could recycle all the pretty colored flower fabric and make a killer scrappy quilt
