TucsonQuilter, I am so sorry for your loss.

I Love the pattern you chose. It's fun and he will have a lot of time to enjoy the pattern. I'm am glad he was able to help in picking out the "fabric" to use. And, it's a wonderful way to bring about joyful memories of his father. I'm sure the flannel one will be just as cute.

This is precious. I love the whimsy combined with the memory for a young child. I'm sad for you and your family for the loss.

My condolences on your loss. I, too, have lost a child, so I can understand the pain for all his family. I have this pattern, but I haven't started it. I have been collecting flannels for the future. Your quilt turned out beautifully. I'm sure it will be a comfort to his wife and son.

I think your memory penquins are a perfect, jolly, loving way to warm your DGS's heart in remembrance of his father.. I hope your beautiful quilt brings comfort to your entire family! Wonderful finish.

So sorry for your lost. You made a lovely quilt in his memory. I would never thought of a penguin pattern for a memory quilt....but it is adorable.
