    Default Memory Quilt

My S/O and I are both widowed - both to cancer. I made his 3 grown kids a memory quilt from their mom's clothes & incorporated pics into it. His wife was an RN - so I used her nursing white uniforms cut into strips to seep rate the squares. I made 3 of these quilts. For the backing I bought a nursing background. Gave it to them at Thanksgiving. I think they liked them.
Here is a pic of one of them - they were basically the same except for the pics.

What a sweet thing for you to do for them, I'll bet the quilts will be treasured by them. I love the quilt you showed us, it's beautifully done!

What a very special person you are to think of doing something like this for them! It should be cherished.

What a lovely thing to do. Combining pictures with the material makes it really personal.

This quilt is lovely as I'm sure the other two are. His children should be very happy with these quilts! What a nice thing for you to do for them (and him).
