I have been lurking for a few months now and I decided I would finally post some of my work. I asked some advice on these quilts and you all responded. I wanted to Thank you. This quilt is a memory quilt that I made for my Mom. I gave it to her at Christmas time. She was thrilled.
Enjoy

How beautiful! I love how you printed the photos in sepia tones. What a treasure!

Wow, that is wonderful! Such a precious keepsake. Did you have a pattern or is that your own design?

Thank you Christine

I used the a pattern from the book Block Explosion. It is the one on the front cover and then I made it fit my needs. It was really easy. I was very nerous about it, but it turned out great.

Loretta I don't think she is going to wash it. It is a huge wall hanging that is hanging in her living room by the chair she sits in every day.
Thanks for the advice.

Wow, that is lovely and I love the colours. I want to try a very small wall hanging, maybe now that I have seen one, I can muster up the courage to try it. Thanks for sharing.

It was really easy, I must say. I have actually made two more half the size of this one for my sister in law of her grandchildren. She is going to give them to her daughter in law's for Mother's Day. They turned out great also.
Good Luck!!!!!!!
