Mastering paper-piecing takes time and patience and each project shows improvement, love your workmanship.

The star looks wonderful. How big is it? You sure did do that fast. There are so many pieces to it. You did a great job.

I had it all cut out yesterday, then spent about 2 hours on it this morning. It's a 12" x 12" square.

Your fabric choices are great together. That looks like a difficult pattern. You did really well on that block.

That's beautiful. I'm not a "blue" person, but the combination of blue and yellow draws me in every time.

Looks great nice job paper-piecing. Don't you just love Carol Doak's blocks? I was born in Michigan and this would be a great block to do and send to my cousin. I even have the book and do believe that I bookmarked the page that has this block. Have thought about doing a quilt that has the blocks of all of the states in which I have lived - and since I have lived in 13 states, I could put a large Michigan block in as a medallion
