    I decided my MIL needed a new apron. Last holiday season she was wearing the one that I had made her over 30 years ago. Oh it looked tired. Here is her new replacement.

    What a nice idea. I'm sure she appreciates it and will think of you each time she wears it.

    So cute! I love aprons! Is the pattern a freebie?

    Chele ~ Sorry, no it is not a freebe. I bought the pattern while doing a shop hop. The pattern is from Indygo Junction, called Stylish Smock IJ731. It has four adult apron styles and a childrens one. It was simple to make. So with all the options and easy - - well worth the price. Here is Indygo Junctions web site;

    I have worn aprons for 30 years ( all married life) and have made several as gifts. Make them for fun grade school cafeteria replacements of basic ones.

    Love your design ! Thanks for sharing. Oh, yes, What is a MIL?
