It looks like a colorful Wonky Log Cabin, so colorful, bet it appeals to him big time. I love the light blue sashing and the crisp white then navy border edged in lt blue again. You did a super job.

I really like your quilt but have to question the origin of its name. Were you sewing a Mile a Minute while piecing? Looks like there were no speed bumps on the trip. Your nephew will love it for years and years.

great way to use scraps........... I have several quilts like yours and I always have one in progress = make blocks as I get scraps and then when I need a quilt in a hurry I have blocks made up and ready to go.
