 How funny, the thread started out as tutorial for crumbs and become a tutorial for concrete floors and excess paint (the paint equivalent of crumbs, right?)

What a creative person you are! Wonderful floor and the block is nice too.

Thank you ladies. I gather that you all know how much I am enjoying my retirement right? lol....I do the things I love 24/7.

I had a sleepless night last night. The two nights before I slept real good.

I talked to some of the ladies at my LSQ, who are about my age and the say the same thing that they don't sleep much eigher so I am not alone.....and since I found that out....

At 5am this morning, I still wasn't sleeping so I got up to work on my Mindless...rumaging around, I found a bag of half made blocks, and strips and extra fabric to finish the quilt, so I just worked on that.

I will join the blocks now and put a border on and post it...that is one UFO out of the way, ever tho it was a scrap quilt given to me by a friend, along with the usual scraps....

it is looking good. I like to do an easy quilt after a hard one so I sort of understand your mind set.

The quilt is called Cinnamon and nutmeg and the fabrics have that color (picked by my GF, who got tired of working on it). Each block features scrappy triangles and a scrappy four patch block centered in a blue frame. Then you finish each block in another frame from the 15 fat quarters.

The name of the book is: More Laps from the fats. The quilt size is 67 1/4 by 67 1/4. It's a cute quilt and the book has several more quilts for scraps.

I painted my front porch using much the same technique. So much fun. Your scraps are beautiful, can't wait to see your no brainer project!

Lovely quilt.
I have to ask, and I'm sure it will be something silly, I've been looking at the picture, do you have a chair on your wall? up in the right hand corner?

At first I thought you took the picture with the top on the floor but as I scrolled down it looks like your sewing machine is in the lower left corner.

I confuse easily and get fixated on the strangest things.

I got sidetracked today from my S and C quilt project because I was reading the board and someone was making Microwave bowl mitts and I just had to join and make a couple lol.
