The top is pieced. It measures 16x16. I'm in the process of removing the paper from the backs of the blocks. Fun.

Oh I like, I like. Do you always leave all the paper on until you are finished, and if so is there a reason. I just started paper piecing, I only made one block so far, but it was made with 4 blocks to make the one bigger block. I took the paper off as I went. Just interested in learning anything new I can.

I have heard using a tracing wheel (used for marking darts) works by running it over the stitching to remove the paper... it loosens the paper from the stitching.... so I am told :) Give a try..

Also have you tired using the freezer paper method... where you don't sew thru the paper but fold the paper on the lines and sew next to the fold, then press afterwards... It is easy too and then you don't have the paper to pick out. :)

WOW! You did great! And on something so small, too. I love paper piecing, too... and making doll size quilts.
