Ok, I was able to get one more in tonight! I'm gone tomorrow so no quilting for me.

I love this block's pattern - Day N Night from quilterscache. But, I use 2 FQs on it. There's a lot of waste with this one. It makes it hard to use this on the boomerang swap. I did use 3 fabrics for a few of them and that helped. I think I'll have save this block for swaps that don't have the f8 limit. :-)

I'll try to make one with a black and another color - that's the prettiest version of this block.

I hope you don't mind - I had a few corrections in it. And my points are not perfect in every spot. I tried! I use the pin through technique and check the other side, but inevitably while sewing things get off a little sometimes.

Here's the pattern, I switched the order and started with the largest piece and #1, then went to the middle then the smallest. Makes for a ton less errors. :-)

Here's tonight's block... St Louis Star 2 from quilterscache I've made it for the boomerang swap but this time I followed the two color scheme from the pattern. A little calico, a little paisley white. Hope you like it!

I was on fire tonight! ;-)

Here are 3 from quilterscache. I should send them some cash for the patterns I use! Love that site...

What I finally (mostly) learned with Paper Piecing... you must be generous with all sideways pieces (except #1). That really helps speed things up - I take forever when I have to redo everything!
