Fun Day at the NW Quilting Expo in Portland, OR
Had a great time on Friday at the NW Quilting Expo. I went with Wine Woman and we ran into most of the WOMBATS. Great seeing all of you!
Also met some "new" friends. So nice to put faces with names.
Great meeting Charisma. Her quilts are even more stunning in person. If you have a quilt top quilted by her, you have a true piece of art!
We met Deann. Such a sweet lady! I hope we can convince her to come on our retreats.
Ugly Cook was helping in Margaret Miller's booth. Angleplay is now on my list of "must learn". All I can say is Wow! I know the pictures won't do them justice, but I am sharing so you can get an idea.

I went on Saturday saw many stunning &amazing quilts there are so many talented quilters! Saw the angle play display have wanted tokake one of them but right now I have so many rulers and books to make other quilts I could not justify the expense this year maybe next year. So great that you got to meet other quilters that are on the board here. Saw a lot of my fellow Westside Quilter Guild members and saw Sue Hausers awesome red/black/white double wedding ring quilt that Sandy Pnnington custom quilted for her. This was my first year I was able to attend and I am looking forward to attending next year
