I have a Minnesota model A. The plate where the needle goes up and down is gone, but I love it because it was my grandmothers. I know it has a vibrating shuttle and was made by Goodrich sewing Co. of Chicago in Kankzkee Ill. It`s about an 1890`s model. My grand mother would be about 125yrs old now and I think she got it soon after they were married.
I`m thinking about having it appraised just to find out if it has any value. I wouldn`t sell it, but want my kids to know the value so they don`t take it to the dump~!
