My dKs are 8" so they would work for your 10 1/2" background block. I can send you a free template if you send me your postal address. I also can send it electronically if you can trace it onto clear plastic and cut it out.

Thank you everyone for your nice comments! I love making these. They really arent' that hard. I do end up having to fuss with the seams a bit as I end up tightening the seams toward the center some times to get it to lay flat.

As to the center I usually make a flat yoyo and top stitch it on the center.

I won't be making a quilt with these they will be going into my online store.
