I have had so much fun reading all your posts regarding my sewing tent. I wanted to give you all a little more information about this particular tent, it's so much better than the first screen tent I had. This, too, is a screen tent, with no floor, so it's easy to set up over a table. It is hexagonal shaped, with 3 doors. It also has a full coverage rainfly, so it's nicely weatherproof. I tap into power either off our rig or the campsite power post directly. As for length of time, we usually park at one spot for up to 5 months, so it is not a lot of setting up/taking down. It travels in the back of our towed car when we travel. If anyone wants to know the brand and where this tent can be purchased, PM me, I'll be glad to help.

Have you ever run across anyone else with a quilting tent?

No not yet. As for skeeters, it's a screen tent so I can zip it up if they get bad.

If you do that in Arkansas a copper head will bite you, a tornado will blow you away or the ticks and chiggers will just eat you alive. Hope you enjoy it, looks like a blast. :)

I never liked camping and now I know why...I didn't have my sewing machine! What fun it must be.

That's a great idea. But, I'm curious...do you go away from your site and leave your machine in the tent? Is it safe?
