More quilts from beginner

My husband bought me a machine one year ago today. It was just a cheap little singer simple. Now I have a Marie Osmand QC. I love it, love it love it. When I first got the machine I was so scared. I had never sewed before, I did not know how to thread the needle or wind the bobbin. So one day dh was gone to work and I took it out, got the book out and wow I thought thats not to bad. Sew the first thing I made was a plastic bag holder, then I made a queen size quilt, then a baby quilt and then the blue jean flannel lap quilt. Now I am doing this king size and it has given me so many fits. Oh boy. I started that about 6 months ago. Well here are the quilts. Thanks for looking. I only hope that in time I can get as good as all of you.

I echo Dancing needle that you are off to a great start! I can't imagine self-teaching myself sewing with a machine from the owners manual! Yeah use it for reference once someone shows me but to know nothing and jump right in? I think you are a natural. I love that calendar holder.
