Maybe you will get some sunshine soon. I can remember about 16 years ago, I send my children to my mom in Chicago for spring break (April). Well we had summer weather here. They left Mississippi in shorts, tee-shirts and flip flops. Lord and behold when the got to Chicago there was snow. Mother was real mad at me for not calling ahead of time to check the weather.

Well now I don't feel so bad. We had snow all morning but it all melted as soon as it hit the ground

Well - I'm from Western Australia and I want SNOW!! We've had nearly three months of sunshine, temperature in the high thirties (over a 100 on the old scale) three spits of rain in all that time. Its now Autumn, and still 34 degrees C through the day, I don't think we are going to get a winter!! Please please send some snow down here!!

Had snow in east central Iowa this a.m. Didn't last too long, but has started showing in the grass and on the roofs. Like magic, as soon as it stopped, the snow on the ground was melted. We did have some very warm days earlier in the week, so the ground was likely still a bit warm.

And I want Spring for a whole other reason...it passed us by!! We've already had temps in the upper 80's for quite some time now. And NO rain!! We're in "exceptional" drought...that's worse than "severe"...and there are wildfires covering over a million acres in different parts of Texas. I'd love to have some of your wet snow right about now! :-)
